A request before an introduction

This original comic scene opens Xiaopang & Huahua (小胖和花花, Xiǎopàng hé Huāhuā). 你好 (nǐ hǎo) starts the introduction; 好吗 (hǎo ma) makes the request a question, and 先…再… (xiān…zài…) orders two actions. Xiaobai needs help with his books before returning to the greeting. His response belongs to this particular situation, not a rule about how Chinese people greet strangers. Huahua is Xiaopang’s dog and will appear in later episodes.
